TNA iMPACT! desde los estudios Universal.
TNA iMPACT! presenta un show previo a “Against All Odds” , con la presencia de muchas estrellas. Entre ellas los clasificados a la lucha especial de este PPV, el ganador tendrá el derecho de luchar por el título mundial en LockDown.
Resultados:
- Hulk Hogan en el centro del ring para saludar al público y hablar de lo ocurrido a Kevin Nash y de lo mucho que lo necesita la gente y lo que le hiceron Hall y Waltman
- Eric Young llega para interrumpir y le dice que ahora él es el que debe tener las oportunidades que sus amigos no han aprovechado. Y que Nash le ha hecho muchos favores antes, así que desea ayudarlo. Pide que Hall y Waltman aparezcan en el ring.
- Hogan le dice que ha tenido su oportunidad con su facción y la verdad no han hecho mucho. Pero vera que puede hacer por Nash y él. Eric dice que por respeto a él hará las cosas a la manera de Nash1. The Pope Angelo Dinero venció a Orlando Jordan calificando para la lucha de estrellas en Agains All Ods.
- The Pope se muestra superior, al final gana con una barrida y rodada sobre Jordan.
- Eric Bischoff, se encuentra encuentra en su oficina, Jeff Jarret lo encará, quiere tener una oportunidad para demostrar su valía, volver a ser lo que era. Bischoff le dice que la única manera de ser el contendiente al título es ganando el Eight Card Stud tournament, y que para su suerte el ya estaba fuera, así que le decía adios.
- 2. Matt Morgan vencia Sucide en su eliminatoria para ir al Eight Card Stud tournament en Agains All Ods.
- En la oficina de Bischoff, se determina Mick Foley y Abyss serán los otros dos contendientes del torneo y se muestra como será el roll de eliminación: The Pope vs. Desmond; Kurt vs. Anderson; Hernandez vs. Morgan; y Abyss vs. Foley.
- Mr. Anderson y Kurt Angle en entrevista con Christy Hemme, Anderson dice que no la conoce, Angle le advierte al rudo sensación que ni se le ocurra traicionarlo en la lucha de esta noche, en la que van como pareja contra Wolfe y Hernandez.
- 3. Doug Williams venció a Amazing Red para retener el título de la División X
- Williams aplicó un Swanton y una barrida alemana para llevarse la lucha.
- 4. The Beautifui People (Velvet Sky, Madison Rayne, y Lacey Von Erich) vencieron a Angelina Love y Tara en un handicap match.
- Desmond Wolfe en entrevista con Cristy, habla de que el será el próximo Campeón de la TNA.
- 5. Mr. Anderson y Kurt Angle vencieron a Hernandez y Desmond Wolfe.
- Mr. Anderson aprovecha que Angle había ya casi rendido a Wolfe para llegar y robarle la victoria a favor de su equipo.
- Samoa Joe en el ring. Samoa ha cambiado y está listo para tomar el rumbo de su cerrera por el camino del bien. Llega AJ Styles y Ric Flair, para burlarse de él y que en los últimos años su carrera ha sido una basura. luego suben al ring a agradirlo.
- AJ Styles está listo para ir a celebrar con las chicas que Nature Boy le ha conseguido, cuando Eric Bischoff lo intercepta y le dice que él será el referí especial en la lucha títular del domingo.
- Kurt Angle con Hulk Hogan en backstage, hablando de las reglas del torneo, Angle respeta lo que tenga que decir Hogan, pues el es el jefe.
- Kurt Angle en el ring, es agredido por Scott Hall y Waltman, llega Hulk Hogan en actitud NWO, saluda a sus viejos amigos, por un momento parece que el NWO renacera, Waltman le da un boxer para que golpee a Angle, pero cuando los rufianes sujetan al olímpico, Hogan golpea a Hall y luego a X Pac, los tres quedan tendidos en la lona y Hogan se va.
- Promo de Sting, el ícono de TNA.

 TNA Impact on Spike TVTaped in Orlando, Fl. [Q1] Eric Bischoff putting Mick Foley in a no disqualification match against Kevin Nash last week was recapped. Scott Hall and Syxx Pac attacked Kevin Nash after the match. Tonight’s show is entitled “Hulk’s Moment of Truth.” … The opening video aired and fireworks lit up the Impact Zone. Mike Tenay and Taz welcomed us to the broadcast. Hulk Hogan’s music hit and he made his way out to the ring. He mimicked Scott Hall’s walk and then told the camera man that is exactly what he did. “Welcome to your Impact Zone brother.” Hogan said regardless of where he goes, everyone is always asking about TNA. He said he was cool again because he was in TNA. Hogan said the Impact Zone is on Lockdown tonight. Scott Hall and Syxx Pac were on the outside. Hogan didn’t agree with “X Pac” taking liberties with Kevin Nash last week. If Hall and Pac somehow snuck into the building, they would have to deal with Hogan. He teased wrestling if he had to. “If I have to put on the red and yellow brother, I’ll do what I have to do.” Eric Young’s music hit and he came out to the ring. Young said he was tight with Nash and good friends were hard to find. He asked Hogan to let Hall and Pac into the building. He wasn’t afraid to get his hands dirty. Hogan wanted to talk and named off a lot of Young’s career achievements, saying Young was one of the reasons he came to TNA. Twill’s Two Cents: I doubt Hogan knew who Eric Young even was before coming to TNA and he never mentioned him by name. Young said out of respect for Hogan, he would do things “Kevin Nash’s way” and take them out outside of the Impact Zone. Hogan liked that idea. They shook hands and Hogan’s music played… Twill’s Two Cents: Yet another face turn, this time by Eric Young. All in all, a pretty solid segment for Young. That was a huge opportunity for him and I felt he handled it just fine. Other than that, there wasn’t anything too special about it. Mick Foley was shown walking through the back. He asked someone if Bischoff was there yet and she told him he had been there all day… [C] [Q2] Hall and Pac were shown sneaking around in the back somewhere… 1. D’Angelo Dinero defeated Orlando Jordan in an Eight Card Stud tournament match in 4:46. They showed footage of Jordan beating Pope two weeks ago and Pope beating A.J. Styles last week. Jordan worked on the same bad knee he took advantage of two weeks ago. Both guys wore black and red. Jordan hit a swinging backbreaker and the fans chanted “You still suck” at him. Funny. Pope won the crowd over with a few comeback moves. Jordan hit a spinebuster for a nearfall. In the corner, Pope hit a couple of right hands. He followed up with the DDE (running double knees to the back) for the win… Twill’s Two Cents: Solid opener but nothing spectacular. The crowd crapped all over Jordan. He is not over at all. Backstage, Jeff Jarrett approached Eric Bischoff and said he hoped he delivered in his match against Mr. Anderson two weeks ago. Bischoff told Jarrett he did deliver and he was a very valuable commodity to him and TNA. His tone was very mocking. Jarrett asked for one of the spots in the tournament to determine a new number one contender. Bischoff said no because if Jarrett won the tournament and became the number one contender, that would be “the same old thing” and not having Jarrett start from the bottom. Jarrett was sad and walked away as Bischoff cockily said “Bye bye.” … [C] Twill’s Two Cents: I hope Jarrett didn’t think Bischoff was being genuine during the first three quarters of that exchange. Bischoff’s cocky heel character works so well, especially if a select couple of people get to get a shot or two in on him in the upcoming weeks. Jarrett is the sympathetic babyface again, although I’d be pissed at him if I was a young guy. [Q3] 2. Matt Morgan defeated Suicide in an Eight Card Stud tournament match in 2:17. Morgan hit the “running sit on the back of a guy’s head” but Suicide was draped over the top rope. Impressive. Suicide hit a couple of comeback moves, but Morgan hit the carbon footprint for the win… Twill’s Two Cents: Entertaining couple of minutes. Suicide is just another guy now, like Consequences Creed or Black Machismo. He’s an opening match getting squashed guy. Morgan looked good. Backstage, Mick Foley entered Eric Bischoff’s office and said he was willing to do anything he could if both Jeremy Borash and Abyss would be taken care of. Bischoff said he was a man of his word and he would take care of both guys. Bischoff put Abyss in the tournament and booked him against Foley for the pay-per-view, which means Foley gets the last slot. He told Foley that if they tried anything, they would unmask Abyss. Foley was disgruntled… [C] Twill’s Two Cents: Bischoff was more smartass during the Jarrett segment, but it was the same basic character. Nice stuff from Eric here and Foley was great in his reactions. I hope Jarrett was watching that. They announced Pope vs. Wolfe and Hernandez vs. Morgan on one side of the bracket and Angle vs. Anderson and Foley vs. Abyss on the other side for the tournament on Sunday… Christy Hemme interviewed Anderson and Angle backstage. Anderson gave his normal promo about becoming the next TNA World Heavyweight Champion. Angle said if Anderson intended to screw Angle like Hogan did, he would snap his ankle faster than “that stupid microphone could fall from the ceilling.” Angle left. A mic lowered for Anderson and he did his line… [C] Twill’s Two Cents: A microphone in the locker room? I get that it just follows him around, but that’s just dumb. The microphone gimmick is cool, but they can make it old very quickly. By the way, I like the winner of the Anderson vs. Angle first round match to win the tournament. [Q4] Backstage, Kurt Angle approached Eric Young and said he appreciated that he wanted to stand up for Kevin Nash. He said Young could not take on Hall and Pac by himself, so he would go get them alone, without Eric. He told Young to stay behind. Young punched the locker… Twill’s Two Cents: That made Young look pretty minor league. He looked like the angry little brother kicking and screaming when he yelled, “Look at what they did to Kevin!” They could have made Young look better by having Angle say he had Eric’s back or something like that. 3. Doug Williams defeated Amazing Red to retain the X Division Championship in 4:48. Red hit a corkscrew plancha on Williams after kicking him to the floor. He followed with a missile dropkick for a two count. Williams avoided a Swanton and hit the rolling German with a bridge for the win… Twill’s Two Cents: Good match. Williams works an interesting X Division style in that he is not a high flying guy, but he is solid in the ring. Red was impressive in defeated. Adiós Survivor Series Proforma de ventas de los últimos PPV del 2009 y razones de la muerte de uno de los 4 PPVs más importantes de la WWE
Aquí está la cita exacta de Vince McMahon, en la que reveló que después de 23 años, la WWE estaría eliminando el nombre de “Survivor Series”, el segundo más largo en la historia de los PPV de la compañía.
Vince declaró:
“Creemos que Survivor Series está obsoleto, es algo que trabajó muchos, muchos años atrás, en términos de un punto de vista creativo. Eso realmente no es conveniente, Survivor Series, sí, hace muchos años, fue uno de los cuatro originales de PPV, pero sobrevivió a su uso y es una de las cosas en términos de cambio de marca , este año y va hacia adelante, que serán renombrados. No vamos a tener ese título, Survivor Series más.
En lo que destacamos las palabras de Vince es OBVIAMENTE desde un plano económico, observen:
Hell in a Cell señaló a 283.000 compra, que el año pasado (cuando fue titulado No Mercy), que se compra 261.000.
Bragging Rights señaló una 181.000 compra, que el año pasado (cuando fue llamado Cyber Sunday) 153.000.
Survivor Series señaló una compra 235.000, frente a los 319.000 del 2008.
TLC: la mesa, escaleras y sillas señaló a 228.000 compra, que el año pasado (cuando fue titulado Armageddon) que se compra 193.000.
¿Pero que acaso este tipo no se da cuenta que un nombre no es el que cambia el PPV, sino el argumento del mismo y su tradición?

Si, en lugar de traer a puro vegete mejor que se vuele a los main events de la WWE ¿Pero quienes podrían? Veamos, si trajeran a Cena y le dieran el turn heel seria un gran IMPACT!, porque seguro de que al pisar TNA la gente lo odiaria y le cantaría sin parar como en ECW One Night Stand, ¿Triple HHH? No lo creo, es el yerno del jefe, no se arriesgaría, ¿HBK? Si se quedó en la primera desbandanda, no creo que quiera mudarse al menos que en su papel de obsesivo, por no lograr enfrentar al Taker chance y quiera uno con Sting ya de perdis. ¿Batista? Con el… para mi gusto, serían demasiados rudos en TNA. Creo que sería mejor que trajeran a gente ignorada por WWE como Evan Bourne, Swagger, a gente de FCW, The Hurricane, e incluso hasta MVP, para darles el empuje que se merecen y creo que tal vez con eso darían algo de pelea.

Pero tambien es importante que metan gente nueva a la TNA y que no dejen morir a la Division X eso incluye a Jeff Jarett que fue de los que formaron TNA, Hogan no tiene derecho de sacarlo asi por nomas ni siquiera Eric Bischoff.

Primero que nada, Jeff tiene fechas para su mero dia y despues solo el tiempo lo dira.
